Open Gates in '08
The year ahead & what to expect

Our prayer for the coming year is "Open Gates in '08!" God is moving at Grace Point and we pray that he will continue to provide open gates that we can carry the message of his love and forgiveness through in 2008.
In 2008 we are launching our ministry for teens, High Point, as well as improving existing ministries.
We will also embark on three major community improvement and appreciation endeavors. In April, we will seek to help local schools make it through the school year by supplying needed supplies of paper, pens, and pencils for the remainder of the school year. Project: April Showers will take place following Spring Break through the middle of April.
As summertime rolls around, we will hold Christmas in July. This will benefit the playrooms located at Odessa Regional Medical Center and Medical Center Hospital. Our goal is to help stock these playrooms with toys and games that help make a child's stay at each of these hospitals more comfortable.
In recognition of our local first responders, we will celebrate Heroes in September by reaching out to our police and fire departments.
There is still more planned for 2008 and we hope to see even more opportunities to make a difference. Join us as we pray for "Open Gates in '08!"
